My 20th high school reunion is in august. Kill me now. I'd rather be dead than attend an affair as Disney World with people I didn't like 20 years ago, much less now.
So that's what I've done. I've faked my death. I forwarded the invite to a fake account in my dad's name with a note saying, "I thought you might want to respond to Lili's friends about this. best, David."
I then sent an e-mail back to the class high school reunion committee saying:
Heloo,
This is never easy to do for me, but I thought you should know. We lost our Lilii on SEptemer 5th, 2003. SHe was living in Baltimore, Maryland and working for a radio show. SHe was very happy with her life there.
It was a sudden and unexpected death. SHe was rushed to the hospital for what they thought was some sort of food reaction. Her throat had swollen shut and she stopped breathing. They tired to revive her but it was too late. We later found out she had an allergic reaction to a latex condom. It still seems so insane. SHe had quit the beauty industry about 8 years earlier because of the allergy to the latex gloves, but who would have known that the allergy could kill you!
I miss my little girl a lot, and wish you the best at the reunion. I'm sure she would have enjoyed seeing you all again.
...and then signed it from my dad.
My sister said I will burn in hell. Sad she thinks there is one.
You must admit, the people that talked about me behind my back in high school, will surely have fun thinking I died from sexual intercourse.
